Worship Team -- Assisting Ministers

The Assisting Minister does exactly what the title suggests. She or He assists the Pastor during worship.

The Assisting Minister is most often a lay person and reminder of our Lutheran emphasis on a Priesthood of all believers.

The Assisting Minister may perform some or all of the following functions during a worship service:

• Lead a position of the Worship -- often the Kyrie and the Prayers of the People
• Assist at a Baptism, Funeral or Wedding
• Serve Holy Communion
