Worship Team -- Greeters

The greeters and ushers are usually the first people that a person meets. As such, we ask you to pay attention for those people who might be visiting or who are new. Being greeted by a friendly face and a pleasant hello sets the tone for the worship experience here at King of Kings.

Being a greeter is also a wonderful way to meet all of our members.

Instructions for Greeters

  1. Please arrive at Church 20-30 minutes before worship.
  2. Greet everyone as they enter.
  3. If someone needs help or is looking for something, be prepared to escort them or help them. The ushers have been asked to remain at the door and distribute the worship bulletins.
  4. When the opening hymn begins, please be seated in the Church and enjoy the rest of the service. It is helpful if you choose a place at the end of a row to be seated.
  5. When the closing hymn is being sung, exit your row and stand with the Pastor and the Ushers at the exit. If a visitor has a question, they are more likely to ask you since you have already greeted them when they entered.
