Not all our Dramas are Church related, some are just for Family Fun.
TWO PERFORMANCES: Saturday, October 23, 7:00 pm Sunday, October 24, 3:00 pm. With thanks (and apologies) to the Bard, we’re in for a rip-snorting good time at our fall musical, an irreverent take-off of William Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. Set in the Old American West, the stubborn and bossy Katy Lou is driving everyone in town as crazy as a coyote with laryngitis. Her sister, sweet Miss Bianca, is wondering if she will ever be free to marry her handsome suitor Larry, especially since she has to wait until her bad-tempered sister can be tamed by love. You’ll laugh till your sides hurt at the colorful characters and crazy shenanigans in THE TAMING OF KATY LOU. We’ve got cantankerous cowboys, romantic heroes, outrageous outlaws and lovely town ladies—plus more singing, dancing and toe-tapping entertainment than Katy Lou has temper tantrums. So don’t miss the fun. Invite your friends and join us for an afternoon or evening of knee-slapping hilarity—we guarantee it! Free admission. Refreshments follow. A free-will offering will be taken.
