Open Letter of Reference for our Builder -- Pacific Commercial Construction

Building our Vision -- A Golden Time for Giving has completed the building phase of its three year plan. Members of the congregation committed themselves to this three year plan with hopes of raising almost $350,000 for the building of The Gathering Place and retirement of existing debt. At the end of the first 18 months, we have raised over half of that figure and have completed the construction of The Gathering Place.

The parking lot is being repaired after the digging for the utilities and the landscaping installed. Please watch your step as you maneuver around the campus.

March 30, 2010 -- Concrete sidewalk & patio poured

The sidewalks and patio have been poured. This included some new concrete are that was added to the sanctuary entrance. We're getting close!

March 1, 2010 -- Construction Update

The color coat is on and the landscaping work has begun.

We are getting close to finishing the outside -- next the inside finish work begins!

It's amazing what a little bit of stucco can make in the appearance of the building. With our windows and doors going in, we are one step closer to sealing the building against the weather. The interior finishing work will begin soon.

The walls are beginning to take form as we dodge in and out of rainy days on the work site.

The surveying team laid out the footprint of the new building and the trenching for the footings began immediately. Ok -- so this is NOT that exciting but it means that we have begun construction.
