2007 VBS (Vacation Bible School)VBS at King of Kings was a fun filled week for both adults and kids. Pastor Kupka taught a special class on the Dead Sea Scrolls (see below). And the kids were under the ocean in the Great Bible Reef program of their own.
With a lot of imagination and skill, you cam make anything into a sea creature-- including our announcers, the star fish and jelly fish!
We were blessed with lots of helpers -- of all ages. We especially needed the younger helpers for the running games.
Bible Story time outside (because of the messy snacks like pudding with gummy worms, etc.)
Our service project was making "back to school" kits for North County Solutions for Change. Pastor Kupka taught the largest class of VBS adults we've ever had -- just imagine what it would have been like if he had taught on the Live Sea Scrolls! |
