The hill called Golgotha was not empty that
Friday. Along with the crosses and the men dying upon them, there were
witnesses—watchers on that ancient hill. Who were they? What did they see and
hear in Jesus’ final hours?
Come with us to the foot of the cross and be a
witness, too. Stand among his enemies. Linger with his friends. Rediscover
through the stories of 16 unforgettable characters the reality of Jesus’ death,
the magnitude of his sacrifice and the miracle of our own salvation.
WATCHERS ON THE HILL was written by King of
Kings member Elaine Aadland and has been performed in churches throughout the
country. We have been blessed to have this compelling dramatic work be a major
focus of our Drama Ministry.
