Sierra Wiseman Fundraiser -- UPDATE

Sunday June 22nd was her baptism here at King of Kings.

Sierra's birthday was on March 17th -- she was 4.

According to the latest information that we have, the chemotherapy seems to be stabilizing her cancer.

She will shortly be back in the hospital for the bone marrow transplant and then home in isolation for 6 more weeks after that.

She just completed more chemotherapy and radiation -- so keep her in your prayers.

No new tumors have been found. It will be a couple of weeks before we know if they have shrunk -- so please keep up your prayers.

Sierra is 4 years old. She was diagnosed with cancer in early January 2008 and we raised money to buy the family a reliable car to get her to Children's Hospital for her chemotherapy and doctor's appointments. Any funds above and beyond what we need for a reliable car will be used to provide insurance, AAA membership for roadside assistance and gas for the over 100 mile round trip they must make daily.

Read the article that made the front page of the North County Times on Thurs. March 7th

On this page, we'll report on Sierra's condition and the progress of the fundraiser. Along with a reminder to keep Sierra in your prayers.

Thanks go out to the Chick-fil-A at 3475 Marron Rd

Our first fundraiser at Chick-Fil-A raised $400 -- thanks Mr. Cow.

And next time you are there, please thank the manager for helping Sierra.
