Rev. Timothy Eichler, Pastor

We welcomed Pastor Tim to our congregation, February 1, 2017. Pator Tim comes to King of Kings after serving on the Church’s behalf as a chaplain in the U.S. Navy for 30 years. As a chaplain, he has served on aircraft carriers, with Marines at Camp Pendleton and Okinawa, and in the Pentagon. In August 2016 he was invited to address the ELCA Churchwide Assembly on behalf of Federal Chaplains.

He was raised in the Lutheran Church, and is a life-long learner. Since graduating from Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN, Pastor Tim completed Joint Professional Military Education Phase I in 1998 through the Naval War College Non-Resident Program; earned his Doctor of Ministry at Luther Seminar in 2001; was awarded a Master or Arts in International Relations from Salve Regina University, Newport, Rhode Island; and is currently enrolled in the St. Steven’s Program, Antiochian House of Studies, Applied Orthodox Theology.

Pastor Tim likes to walk, bike, swim, read, and enjoy God’s creation. He and his wife Cindy have three daughters, Elizabeth, Rachel, and Rebekah.
