WHAT WE BELIEVE 2018-02-23T11:55:57+00:00

Jesus Frees Us.

Above all else, we believe in the good news of Jesus Christ as God and Savior. We believe that He died for us and rose again. We believe that His precious gift of salvation frees us to live our lives in joy and confidence. This gift is for everyone—and it’s ours for the taking.

All we have to do is accept it.

What we mean when we say “I believe.”

We who are members of King of Kings Lutheran Church believe in the Triune God-the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Creator-Redeemer-Sustainer gives us the power to live fully in His grace. God’s promise of steadfast love and mercy in Jesus opens us to a life of trust in Him and generous service to those we know and meet. We hold to the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. We listen to the witness of others and we watch for the ways God is active in the world around us. Faith opens a place for engaging others in conversation, for seeking the truth, for asking questions and sharing God’s love in word and deed.
